How to Stream to TikTok Live

Use HostVortex with TikTok desktop LIVE access and your RTMP credentials.

Getting Started

Open TikTok's LIVE Access page and apply for desktop/live streaming access. - Request TikTok LIVE Access
Wait until TikTok grants your account RTMP access. Without approval, TikTok will not provide an RTMP URL and stream key for HostVortex.
Once access is available, open TikTok LIVE tools and copy the RTMP URL (server URL) and stream key.
In your HostVortex dashboard, add a TikTok platform or edit your existing TikTok connection.
Paste the RTMP URL and stream key into HostVortex, then save the connection.
Start your stream from OBS or your encoder, ideally in a vertical 9:16 layout for TikTok Live.
Check the TikTok preview and go live from TikTok if TikTok asks for final confirmation.

No RTMP access yet?

If TikTok has not granted LIVE Access, HostVortex cannot stream to TikTok on your behalf because there is no RTMP URL or stream key to use.

In that case, stream through TikTok Live Studio until TikTok enables desktop RTMP access for your account.

TikTok stream keys are often one-time use, so be ready to generate a new key for the next session or after a failed reconnect.
If a fresh session does not connect, copy a new stream key from TikTok instead of reusing the previous one.
Ending the live on TikTok first is usually safer before stopping your encoder or HostVortex session.

Use a vertical canvas and keep key text centered so it stays readable on phones.
Test audio levels and framing before going live if TikTok gives you a preview step.
Keep the TikTok LIVE setup page open while you configure the stream in case TikTok refreshes session credentials.
